Free Kindy from 2024

The Queensland Government is making kindy free for all Queensland families.

Kindy will be free for eligible-aged children who attend a government-approved program offering

free kindy from 1 January 2024.

This is 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year, of free kindy taught by a qualified early childhood teacher.

Sunshine Coast Council - Minor Grants Community Facilities Grants Program 2023

Cancer Council QLD - SunSmart Shade Creation Initiative Grant 2023
Grant received for a permanent shade structure for our Kindergarten building.

This enabled us to proceed and build a 8 x 6 mtr Patio at the rear of our kindy next to our lawn & veggie garden area.
Providing shade & shelter for our children & staff to gather whilst maintaining a connection with nature as they enjoy food and activities and conversations.

Thanks to our wonderful fundraising efforts and kind donations we have been able to transform our old gravel carpark into an asphalt carpark with parking lines & tyre bumper stops. This provides us with a safer environment.

Special thanks to Dillon Linemarking for their assistance and donation towards helping us with this new carpark.
